At the core of much of my work is my fascination with community living, and in particular my interest in communication and interconnection. As well, my art is shaped by a sort of philosophical weaving around the exploration of effective, caring and conscious interactions. Through my art, I hope to contribute to a greater collective sense-making, by challenging shared narratives around power dynamics, social structures and belonging, pleasure and care practices.

Queering the storytelling practices fascinates me in every way. I'm constantly investigating ways of achieving catharsis outside the standard Western dramatic model. I spend a lot of my time studying the idea of decolonization and depatriarchalizing of the performing arts, and I really enjoy sharing insights and learning from others on the subject. I feel a strong gravitational pull toward narrative structures that have to do with cycles (such as life, death and rebirth).  I believe that the world - and our relationship with it - needs to be reinvested with a sense of sacredness: to consider life, in all its forms, as precious. I believe that a new kind of theatre, drawing from queer futurisms and more in tune with the natural world, can help to foster this.

I like to bring people together around an art project, or participate in ephemeral intentional collectives myself. Minimalism and non-extractive behaviors generally inspire me as a leader and/or when organizing containers. I am devoted to creating a useful legacy for the generations to come, through emotional impact and inspiring stories. Because to me, only what was first imagined can be made into reality, and because it is only from the heart that clear visions of new worlds of freedom can be born.
